Fresh & Best brings together a team of industry professionals led by Founder and Managing Director Uday Charan Shamshir. Together, we connect growers, suppliers and customers through an international network spanning the UAE, South Africa, India, Morocco and Malaysia.
Our network develops both import and export programmes for fresh fruits, vegetables and meat. We connect local production with overseas buyers and source internationally to meet domestic demand, bridge seasonal gaps and broaden product availability.

Established in Dubai in 2023, Fresh and Best General Trading LLC draws on the trade relationships Uday has developed throughout his career. His approach combines practical market knowledge, direct customer engagement and a focus on partnerships that grow through repeat business.

We work with South African wholesalers and distributors to plan reliable supplies of off-season produce and products not grown locally, with the aim of extending this supply to retailers. We support Indian importers, retailers and distributors with dependable fruit programmes across the calendar. We are developing our Moroccan business with a focus on both imports and exports. Our goal is to bring suitable international produce to Moroccan customers while building routes to market for Moroccan growers and exporters. We are strengthening local relationships and shaping programmes around demand and seasonal opportunities.

DRS AGRO EXPORTS & IMPORTS SDN BHD brings strong tropical fruit export capabilities, supported by its farms growing pineapples, starfruit and other exotic fruits. Our export range includes MD2 pineapples, jackfruit, starfruit, rambutan, mangosteen, papaya, seedless watermelon and red dragon fruit. For Malaysian customers, our international network offers sourcing for off-season produce and products not grown locally, with programmes planned around market requirements.
Documentation & quality coordination
We coordinate the agreed commercial and shipment information with the parties involved.
Commercial invoice, packing list and Certificate of Origin are available according to the agreed shipment.
Product-specific documents include a phytosanitary certificate for produce and a Halal certificate for meat.
AWB, Sea Waybill or Bill of Lading is provided according to the confirmed transport mode.
Document availability and destination-specific requirements depend on the product, origin and destination and are confirmed with each quotation.
